A video circulating on social media has captured a confrontation between a man and a police officer attached to the Delta State Command’s ‘Operation Sweep’ unit over the withholding of a commuter’s phone.
The footage, recorded by an eyewitness, shows the commuter trailing the officer, demanding the return of his device.
‘’This is stealing, This is oppression, Give him his phone, officer! This is how you k!lled an innocent civilian few days ago. This is how you want to k!ll us” the eyewitness said
The reason behind the officer’s decision to withhold the man’s phone remains unclear.
