Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has come under criticism on social media following the circulation of an alleged leaked audio conversation between her and a TikTok fan identified as Bisgold.
The 12-minute recording was released by blogger Mama Esabod and has since generated reactions online, with attention focused on the actress’s comments about fellow entertainers and her response to some of the remarks made during the conversation.
In the audio, which was conducted mainly in Yoruba and Pidgin English, Abraham reportedly expressed frustration over the insults and criticism she frequently receives from social media users.
She also spoke about her relationship with actors Itele and Kemity, explaining that some people who claim to be her supporters use fake accounts to attack others, including Kemity, whom she described as someone she considers a daughter.
However, the conversation has drawn criticism over the exchange between Abraham and Bisgold, particularly the fan’s comments about fellow Nollywood actress Funke Akindele.
During the conversation, Bisgold was heard repeatedly insulting Akindele, while Abraham appeared to listen and laugh instead of cautioning her over the remarks.
The discussion also touched on previous insults directed at actress Iyabo Ojo. Bisgold reportedly said Ojo had been unable to move past the incident, prompting Abraham to laugh and agree that she had not gotten over it either.
The leaked recording has since sparked discussions among social media users, with many focusing on Abraham’s reactions to the comments made about her colleagues.
The controversy comes amid ongoing conversations about relationships and rivalries within the Nigerian entertainment industry.
