Former Inter Milan striker, Nicola Ventola, has claimed that Atalanta forward, Ademola Lookman suffered injustice during the summer transfer window.

According to Ventola, promises weren’t fulfilled as the Nigerian international failed to join Inter Milan from Atalanta.

Speaking to Viva el Futbol, the 47-year-old retired footballer said, as quoted by (FCInter1908):

“Personally, Lookman, in my opinion, is the one who suffered an injustice in the summer.

“After two years, there have been promises not fulfilled.”

Recall that Lookman tried to force a move away from Atalanta to Inter Milan during the summer transfer window.

The 27-year-old also submitted a transfer request and skipped training, but he ultimately ended up staying at Bergamo.

Lookman joined Atalanta from RB Leipzig in 2022 and helped the Serie A club to win the UEFA Europa League.
