Basel striker, Philip Otele is a subject of interest from English clubs, Crystal Palace and Birmingham City.

Otele has impressed since linking up with Basel from UAE Pro League club, Al Wahda.

The 26-year-old scored nine times in 18 appearances during his sixth months loan spell at the club

The move was made permanent at the end of the 2024/25 season.

Otele has scored four goals and provided  three assists in 16 appearances for the RotBlau this season.
