Barcelona defender, Inigo Martinez is in talks with Al Nassr.

Although he has a contract with the LaLiga champions until June 2026.

ESPN reports that Barça are willing to facilitate his exit as a free agent.

The 34-year-old had received a lucrative offer from the Saudi Pro League last summer, but was convinced to stay by Barcelona’s sporting director Deco.

Inigo’s departure would not provide a direct injection of cash for Barcelona, but would free up a significant amount of salary to register other players.

Barcelona are not yet in compliance with the 1-1 rule, but they could use 60% of Iñigo’s salary to register other players.

With nine days to go before the start of LaLiga, Barcelona are yet to register Joan García, Wojciech Szczesny, Marcus Rashford, Gerard Martín and Marc Bernal.

Inigo joined Barça in the summer of 2023 as a free agent from Athletic Club.
