Real Madrid legend, Toni Kroos, has reacted after the Los Blancos confirmed that Vinicius Junior has decided to extend his stay at the club.
Real Madrid, Vinicius and Real Madrid have been locked in talks over a new deal for the past few months.
As a result, the Brazilian international was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this summer.
It was reported that the Gunners were keen to make the 26-year-old the highest-paid player in the Premier League.
However, Vinicius won’t be joining Arsenal after Real Madrid released a statement on Thursday confirming that the winger has extended his contract until 2032.
Reacting to the news via Instagram, Kroos expressed happiness as Vinicius extended his contract.
“Thank goodness, Junior,” the former Germany international commented.
