Nigerian singer and entertainer Kokopee has criticized Peller’s recent suicide attempt, suggesting the TikTok star’s actions were driven by love, comparing it to Romeo’s passion.
The incident occurred during a live TikTok stream, where Peller appeared visibly emotional while driving his newly purchased Mercedes-Benz. Reports indicate that during the livestream, he cried, spoke emotionally, and threatened to end his life.
The situation reportedly escalated shortly after, with Peller losing control of his vehicle and crashing the car. Subsequent footage captured the aftermath, showing bystanders rushing him to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
The event has since generated widespread reactions across social media, drawing responses from fans, influencers, and concerned Nigerians.
Kokopee, responding to the incident, expressed disappointment over Peller’s actions and questioned whether his friends had offered guidance or advice. He specifically wondered if close associates like Sabalo had tried to intervene or caution him.
He noted that many men experience heartbreak, shed a few tears, and eventually move on without resorting to self-harm. Kokopee condemned Peller for attempting to end his life over a breakup with his girlfriend, Jarvis, calling the behavior unacceptable.
He added that men who display excessive emotional vulnerability may risk losing respect from their partners, who might perceive them as weak. Kokopee concluded by advising Peller to act responsibly, emphasizing that too much attention or care can sometimes prompt partners to consider separation.
