Super Eagles captain, Wilfred Ndidi has resumed training with his Turkish Super Lig club, Besiktas after attending his father’s funeral back in Nigeria, NEWSUNPLUG reports.

Ndidi senior, a former soldier, died in a car accident around the Umunede area of Delta State last month.

He was laid to rest last week Friday in Agbor, Delta State.

Ndidi is now available for Sunday’s home clash with Goztepe after missing last weekend’s 3-2 away win at Istanbul Başakşehir.

The 29-year-old has scored once in 16 league appearances for Besiktas this season.

The Black and Whites are fifth on the table with 40 points from 22 matches, while Goztepe are fourth with 41 points.
