Galatasaray reporter Ali Naci Küçük has suggested why Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman may not join his fellow Nigerian international teammate Victor Osimhen at Galatasaray in the upcoming January transfer window.

Galatasaray has been linked with a move for Lookman ahead of the winter window.

The Nigerian forward reportedly wants a €9 million annual salary to join Galatasaray.

Speaking on the development on SkySport’s YouTube channel, Küçük insisted that the Turkish Süper Lig champions are unlikely to sign Lookman due to the asking prices of both Atalanta and the player.

“A transfer for Ademola Lookman is out of the question. Atalanta’s asking price for Lookman is €60 million,” Küçük was quoted by Habersarikirmizi as saying.

“The player’s asking price is €9 million per year. Galatasaray paid those prices for Victor Osimhen.

“So, he won’t be able to come. A transfer for Lookman to Galatasaray is unlikely.”
