Police have arrested two co-wives in connection with the alleged m8rder of a woman suspected to have been having an affair with their husband.
The two suspects, Musa Samutumwa, aged 24, and Ireen Nasilele, aged 32, earlier appeared before the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court, Zambia.
The court heard that Samutumwa, and Nasilele, of Westwood area, are accused of forming a violent tag-team that that k!lled Josephine Ngulube.
It is alleged that the two women beat Ngulube after suspecting her of being their husband’s mistress.
During an explanation of charge, the accused, who appeared calm in the dock, told the court that they understood the offence they are facing.
The matter has not yet been committed to the High Court for plea and trial.
The two are expected to reappear for possible committal on Monday, May 4, 2026.
