At least five teams have overturned three goals or more in knockout ties in the history of the UEFA Champions League.

They are Deportivo de La Coruña, Barcelona, Roma, Liverpool and Sporting CP.

Sporting CP is the latest team to overturn three goals or more in a knockout tie in the UEFA Champions League.

The Portuguese club on Tuesday defeated Bodø/Glimt 5-0 in a Round of 16 second-leg fixture to qualify for the last-8.

Sporting lost the first leg 3-0 against Norwegian club last week.

According to OptaJoe, the other teams that overturned three goals or more in the Champions League include Deportivo de La Coruña vs Milan in 2003-04 (quarter-final),
Barcelona vs PSG in 2016-17 (Round of 16), Roma vs Barcelona in 2017-18 (quarter-final), Liverpool vs Barcelona in 2018-19 (semi-final), and now Sporting CP vs Bodø/Glimt in the Round of 16 stage.
