Liverpool defender, Ibrahima Konate has insisted that Galatasaray have crazy fans.

Konate spoke while insisting that he was not surprised that the Reds lost against Galatasaray in the Champions League on Tuesday.

A first half goal from Victor Osimhen gave Galatasaray the win against Arne Slot’s side at Rams Park.

“It’s no surprise that we lost to Galatasaray,” Konate said at his post-match interview (via Habersarikirmizi).

“They are a very strong team, and it’s difficult to play against them. They have crazy fans and an atmosphere. We knew that already.”

“We are very disappointed because we lost 1-0 due to a penalty. I’m not sure if it was a penalty or not.

“We have to keep that in mind and focus on the rest of the season,” he said.
