Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen, has warned Liverpool not to be too confident ahead of their Champions League last-16 second leg.

The Turkish side will travel to Anfield with a narrow 1-0 lead from Tuesday’s first leg.

Osimhen provided the assist for Mario Lemina’s early goal.

The 27-year-old has now hailed the unity between the players and the squad, as they beat the Premier League champions.

“We are a family together with the Galatasaray fans. We did a very good job today,” Osimhen said.

He added: “I think we can hurt Liverpool in the second leg. We have done a good job so far.”

Osimhen has now been involved in eight goals in the Champions League this season (7 goals and 1 assist) – the most ever by a Nigerian player in a single campaign.
