Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard, has advised Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta that he needs to start Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka against Atletico Madrid in the second leg of both teams’ Champions League semi-final tie next week.

Arteta opted not to start both Eze and Saka as the Gunners played a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid in the first leg on Wednesday.

The England internationals were introduced in the second half of the encounter as goals from Viktor Gyokeres and Julian Alvarez decided the tie.

“In the second leg, you’ve to get Eze on the pitch,” Gerrard told TNT Sports.

“I think he gives Arsenal just that little bit more spark, and he just looks that little bit more dangerous for me.

“Saka does (starts second leg) for me. You play your big-game players in the second leg.”
