Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard, has named Paris Saint-Germain as the team to win the Champions League this season.
Speaking on TNT Sports, Gerrard said that the French Ligue 1 champions are difficult to beat.
This comes after PSG defeated Bayern Munich 5-4 in the Champions League semi-final first leg encounter on Tuesday.
When asked which team he would put his money on to win the Champions League, Gerrard said, “It’s been on PSG since the beginning.
“I have not had a bet financially, but my choice was PSG. The final, last year, I just think they are so good when they are at their best, they are so difficult to beat.”
PSG will need to put a outstanding display against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena next week to be able to reach the Champions League final.
