British rapper and Netflix actor Ghetts, whose real name is Justin Clarke-Samuel, has been charged following a fatal hit-and-run that left a 20-year-old man dead in Ilford, east London.
The tragic incident happened on October 18, 2025, when his car allegedly hit the young man on Redbridge Lane East and failed to stop. The victim was rushed to hospital with serious injuries but sadly passed away later that day.
Ghetts, 41, was later arrested and appeared before Stratford Magistrates’ Court, where he was charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Police have since confirmed that the charge is likely to be upgraded to causing death by dangerous driving at his next court appearance on October 27 at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court.
