The pregnant woman who was banished from Ugbema community in Buruku Local Government Area of Benue State over alleged theft has given birth to a baby girl.

According to Benue media personality, Zege Orkwande, after she was sent away from Ugbema on Saturday night, October 11, the woman was left stranded with nowhere to go.

Fortunately, a truck driver offered her a lift and dropped her in Ameladu, near Gboko Town.

She went into labor the same night and delivered a baby safely inside an uncompleted building.

Orkwande further disclosed that his team located the woman on Sunday night in the uncompleted building close to Gboko.

He added that some well meaning Nigerians have so far donated a total of N120,000 for the mother and baby.
