Controversial social media activist VeryDarkMan has criticised Nigerians who depend on influencers and celebrities to tell them which presidential candidate to support in an election.
The activist expressed his displeasure with people who have continued to ask him to reveal his preferred presidential candidate, questioning why Nigerians still rely on public figures to make such important political decisions for them.
In his reaction, VeryDarkMan described the attitude as disappointing, arguing that citizens should be able to assess the state of the country and make their own decisions about who deserves their votes.
“Some Nigerians are st¥pid. Have we not suffered enough for us to still wait for an influencer or celebrity to choose a presidential candidate for us to vote for? Those celebrities don’t even care when things get bad, yet you keep waiting for me to tell you who to vote for despite seeing the current condition of the country?” he said.
His comments highlight the ongoing debate surrounding the influence of celebrities and social media personalities on political decisions in Nigeria.

@JCOALEX🧢:”Nigerians have not yet seen the worst of Tinnubu and APC, let APC win 2027 elections first, that’s when Nigerians will understand the kind of hunger that made mothers to start eating their children in the bible. If things can be this hard in Tinnubu first tenure, imagine 2nd tenure when he doesn’t need anymore votes.. 🤦”
@Olamii:”Hmm Don’t know why Nigeria are waiting for someone like you to tell you who to vote for”
@BlingzNew🙌🏾⚡️:”That’s the most stup!d thing Nigerians do that annoys me, like they don’t have brains of their own”
