One of Nollywood’s veteran actors, Ganiyu Oyeyemi, popularly known as Ogunjimi, has died.
His passing was revealed by a colleague, Kunle Afod, in a post on his Instagram page.
According to Afod, they tried their best but couldn’t save Ogunjimi.
He wrote: “We tried our best but God loves you more. May his soul rest in peace, Baba Ogunjinmi. RIP. Sun re oooo.”
The cause of Ogunjimi’s death is yet to be ascertained.
The actor’s death came weeks after another Nollywood actor, Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, popularly known as Sisi Quadri, died.
