Despite the avoidable loss of lives due to boat mishaps in the country, one Nagya from Niger State, boarded a boat without a life jacket, saying he was trusting God for a safe journey.
“This is my first time entering a canoe, and there is no life jacket. We are just trusting God. Please pray for us and wish us safe journey,” he wrote in a Facebook post on Sunday.
