Manchester City, Pep Guardiola, has sounded a warning to rivals that they are ready to challenge in all four competitions this season.

City are still alive in the Carabao Cup, Champions League and Premier League.

Guardiola’s men are also set to enter the FA Cup in the third round in January.

The former champions were hampered by injuries last season and they struggled to cope.

The former Bayern Munich and Barcelona is hoping to have a fit squad to choose from, as the season begins to enter its decisive weeks.

“If we continue with the squad fit, we will compete in every single game and every single competition,” Guardiola told reporters on Friday.

“I don’t have any doubts about that. Last season we were not able to compete in even one competition.

“Of course, during the process there are injuries. We know that.”
