Nigerian comedian and content creator Carter Efe has gone public to demand payment of the ₦50 million prize he was promised after defeating street-hop singer Portable in a celebrity boxing match held in Lagos.
The fight, which took place during Chaos in the Ring 4 on May 1, 2026, attracted widespread attention across the entertainment scene as fans tuned in to watch the unexpected showdown between the two popular personalities. Carter Efe won the bout via unanimous decision, earning what was announced as the event’s top cash reward.
However, shortly after his victory, Carter Efe voiced concern over not yet receiving his prize money. In a video shared after the match, he appeared holding his championship belt while openly addressing the issue.
“Dem never give me my money o, ₦50 million. I never see am. I nearly d!£ for that stage… make dem give me my ₦50 million make body sweet me,” he said.
He explained that the fight was physically intense and required serious effort, insisting that organizers should fulfill their financial promise without delay. According to him, stepping into the ring was no easy decision and came with risks that should be properly rewarded.
Carter also called on individuals linked to the event, including businessman E-Money, to intervene and ensure the matter is resolved quickly.
