A new mum has called out her mother on X for not fulfilling her role as a grandmother.
The new mum explained that since she gave birth, her mum has only seen the baby once, during the baby’s naming ceremony, and has made no efforts since then to be actively involved in the child’s life.
She wrote: “I don’t think my mom knows she’s now a grandma. Last time she saw my baby was during naming and she lives in Benin.
“She doesn’t work incase you want to think she’s busy. She doesn’t call us
“I was surprised she called me today saying she saw baby on my status that she has gotten big
“Only God knows when next she will call. Zero atom of care.”
When X users tried to make excuse for her mother, the new mum said her mother is not that way with the children from it her siblings.
