A woman’s post about her husband has gone viral, with many expressing concern about her wellbeing.
The woman narrated how her husband decided to marry her only after seeing photos of her mother and sisters and noticing that they are all slim, believing this means his wife will remain slim.
The woman, who gave birth just 6 weeks ago, said that now that she has become a mother, her husband has been monitoring her weight and warning her about putting on weight.
She wrote: “The way my husband is scared of me getting fat eh.
“Yesterday he reminded me that am adding too much o,I should reduce the way I eat.

“Let me tell you a little story. When I started to date my husband, he was so eager to see my family members especially my mum.
“One day he asked me to show him my mum and siblings pictures,I said oga calm down o,we never Dey date far ,wait abeg why are you in a rush?
“He asked again, I then showed him their pictures, oga was excited
“I asked him why, he said because my mummy is not fat,so I won’t get fat if he marries me and I give birth.
“For my mind I say,see this guy o who told you I want to marry a short Ngwa man.
“But here we are today.”
As her post gained traction and sparked backlash, the woman shared a follow-up post trolling those expressing concern for her, by asking them if she should leave her marriage just because her husband is monitoring her weight.
