Brazil midfielder, Casemiro broke down in tears after his side’s elimination from the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament.
The former Manchester United star was speaking after Brazil’s 2-1 defeat to Norway in the Round of 16 on Sunday.
The former Real Madrid player admitted that Carlo Ancelotti’s side disappointed all Brazilians, adding that they will be remembered as the generation that didn’t win the World Cup.
“It’s difficult. I only want to be with my family. We did our best, but we lost our dream… we disappointed all Brazilians,” Casemiro said as quoted by Fabrizio Romano via CazéTV.
“We will always be the generation that didn’t win the World Cup.”
