FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, has said that Spain’s 2026 World Cup triumph means they have earned themselves a place in football history.
Infantino stated this in a post on Instagram on Tuesday following the conclusion of the World Cup tournament.
NEWSUNPLUG recalls that Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 in the World Cup final, thanks to Ferran Torres’ only goal.
Reacting, Infantino also said that Spain’s achievement will be remembered for generations.
