The wife of Nigerian singer Shanko Rasheed has called him out over alleged maltreatment.
Newsunplug reported days back that the couple had lost their son. The singer shared the sad news on his Instagram page, noting that no parent deserved such.
Following his son’s death, his wife, in a video captured online, accused him of abandoning her in her sick bed with their 3 children. She revealed that she had an accident on October 11th that affected her legs, and this made her jobless.
Shanko’s wife said they were given a quick notice from the landlord, and he told her to get a loan for him to pay the rent, which she did. Unfortunately, he collected the money and abandoned her.
She said they were eventually chased out of the house, and she had to manage in a church. She claimed that the singer didn’t pay his children’s school fees even when she begged him.
Calling on Nigerians to help her, she alleged that Shanko had taken custody of their kids.
