Nollywood is witnessing another intense showdown, and this time, things are getting very personal.
The latest drama began when Doris Ogala took a jab at Tonto Dikeh, accusing her of “stealing her destiny” shortly after Tonto announced she was dropping her “King Tonto” persona and stepping fully into her new identity as Evangelist Tonto Dikeh.
Not one to stay silent, actor Uche Maduagwu jumped into the fray, defending his close friend with no holds barred.
In a fiery post, Uche declared:
“DORIS, it will take you 35 years to reach the LEVEL of EVANGELIST TONTO DIKEH. I’m responding because she is my BEST FRIEND.”
And he didn’t stop there. Uche went further, delivering stinging remarks:
“You started acting before me, but today, even my Red BRA Popular surpasses you. Everyone knows your Nollywood STORY, should I share it?”
The timing of Uche’s response added fuel to the fire, coming shortly after Doris publicly criticized Tonto and claimed she had “stolen her destiny.” The drama was already heightened by Tonto’s recent announcement of her spiritual reinvention and decision to retire her “King Tonto” title.
