A Nigerian social critic and political analyst, Abdulaziz Dewat, has shared a video of a man who allegedly married to a minor in one of the states in northern Nigeria.
The Ahmadu Bello University and University of Strathclyde graduate said the purpose of sharing the video is to create awareness about the “danger of child marriage, encourage healthy child development and discourage pedophilia in their communities.”
“Dear Pedoo, your desire should not override your reasoning and humanity. At this stage she needs pen not peniz,” he wrote.
“Note: the purpose pf using these videos is to create awareness about the danger of such practices and encourage child’s development and discourage Pedophilia in their communities.”
