Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has publicly criticized media personality Rufai Oseni for his behavior both on and off the screen.

Edochie recalled an incident where Oseni was caught driving in the BRT lane in Lagos and allegedly reacted arrogantly by telling officials, “Do you know who I am? I will call the Governor of Lagos State.” It was only after a video went viral that Oseni apologized.

The actor also condemned Oseni’s conduct on national television, where Oseni reportedly spoke harshly to guests and told them to leave if they felt uncomfortable. Yul Edochie emphasized that journalism should be based on respect and professionalism, urging media figures to apologize when guests feel uneasy.

Edochie stressed that no one is above the law, and everyone, including media personalities, should act with humility and dignity. He also called for respect toward President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigeria’s duly elected leader, highlighting that the president deserves time to work.
