Brazilian football legend Arthur Antunes Coimbra, popularly known as Zico, has named Nigeria’s Austin Jay-Jay Okocha and Cameroon’s Samuel Eto’o among the four greatest African footballers of all time.

Zico made the remark during an appearance on The Obi One Podcast, hosted by former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel, on Thursday.

When asked to name the best African footballer to ever play the game, Zico told Obi Mikel and Chris McHardy in Rio de Janeiro: “I like Okocha — a fantastic player. Number 10, Okocha. Eto’o, fantastic. George Weah and Drogba.

Okocha, Eto’o, Weah, and Drogba have all retired from professional football.

The four players were exceptional for both club and country during their careers, representing teams such as Chelsea, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan, Manchester City, AC Milan, and Bolton Wanderers.
