A one-month-old baby boy dumped on the banks of Gurara River in Kuka community in Kwali Area Council of the FCT, has been recovered by residents of the area.
A resident, Saidu Ibrahim told Daily Trust that a fisherman who went to the river on Saturday, June 24, to check his nets discovered the baby wrapped with clothes with a N1,000 note in the clothes.
Ibrahim said;
“The fisherman then took the baby the chief’s palace. I think the chief directed that the baby be taken to the social welfare department of Kwali Area Council.”
