Afrobeats artist Spyro has opened up about the long and challenging journey he endured before achieving success in the music industry.
According to Naija News, Spyro shared that it took him sixteen years of relentless effort, enduring multiple setbacks and disappointments, before his career began to gain momentum about three years ago.
He admitted that during those years, he experienced some of the toughest moments of his life, filled with doubt and frustration. Despite these hardships, he credited his faith for transforming his circumstances, leading him from struggle to recognition.
On Instagram, he reflected: “If someone had told me 3 years ago that I would become this fly, I would have argued it. I have been in the industry hustling for 16 years and I was at my lowest when JESUS changed it all… PLS DON’T GIVE UP.”
In another story, Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, revealed that his bond with his father, Fatai Odunsi, became strained after he chose to follow a music career.
