Victor Osimhen has expressed the Super Eagles determination to go all out for a win against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau on Friday.

The three-time African champions will entertain Baciro Cande’s side in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations matchday three encounter at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

The Super Eagles head into the game as the overwhelming favourites going by the quality of the players in both teams and their pedigree.

Jose Peseiro’s side defeated the Djurtus 3-0 the last time both teams met in a a group game at the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.

Despite the gulf in class between both teams, Osimhen insisted that the Super Eagles will respect their opponent.

“We are looking forward to it and I’m happy to be back to the squad it is an amazing feeling and really expecting amazing result in the two legged game against Guinea-Bissau,” Osimhen told NFF TV.

“We don’t underrate our opponent we want to give them the respect they deserve also as a team.”
