The All Progressives Congress Vice-presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima, says Nigeria must not disunite after the results of the 2023 elections.

Speaking on Saturday, February 25, at his Shettima Kukawa 023 polling unit, Lawan Bukar Ward, Maiduguri metropolis , Shettima told reporters that “one out of every four black men in the world is a Nigerian,” warning, “so we cannot afford to mess up the election”.

He described the 2023 presidential election as “a very momentous election in the contemporary history of this country,”

He said that the APC’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, possesses the “maturity, experience, exposure and, most importantly, the intellect to drive the process of nation building.”

He commended INEC for what he described as good organisation of the election process, saying, “there are 176,000 polling units in this country; so it is not an easy task for INEC.”
