Global singing sensation Temilade Openiyi has set off the buzz on the internet with her dress at the 2023 Oscars.
The singer, who was a nominee at the 95th Academy Awards which took place at Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, California, United States, graced the event in a more avant-garde version of the hooded gown in a Lever Couture piece that swirled around her like a trail of smoke.
Tems’ dress was one that was best seen from all angles, its tulle caressing her cheeks, shoulders, and hair like a tender embrace.
She was nominated for the 2023 edition of the Oscars in the category of ‘Best Original Song’ courtesy of her collaboration on the song, “Lift Me Up” with Fenty boss, Rihanna; music producer, Ludwig Göransson; and Black Panther’s director, Ryan Coogler.
Though considered one of the best-dressed stars at the Oscars, Tems dress how, however, continued to garner mixed reactions among the online community with some arguing she was disrespectful to those behind with her dressing, noting she obstructed the view of those behind her.
Albeit, she has been showered more encomiums for stealing the show with her angelic look.
