Samuel Chukwueze looks set to earn his 25th cap for Nigeria when they take on Guinea-Bissau in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Friday (today).
The Villarreal winger, who made his debut for the Super Eagles in 2018 against Uganda in a friendly, has scored four goals in the 24 games he has featured in for the three-time AFCON winners.
Chukwueze last goal for the Eagles was on January 15, 2022 against Sudan at the 2021 AFCON tournament in Cameroon.
He opened the scoring for the Eagles after three minutes as they edged the Sudanese 3-1 in their final group game of the competition.
Prior to that strike, he was also on target against Sierra Leone in a 2021 AFCON qualifier which ended 4-4 at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin, Edo State.
He also scored against Lesotho and South Africa.
