Former Manchester United midfielder, Owen Hargreaves, says Victor Osimhen is one of the irreplaceable stars that Napoli’s team is missing following their 1-0 defeat to AC Milan on Wednesday.
Hargreaves said Osimhen was missed during the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first-leg fixture due to a muscle Injury.
The Partenopei have struggled in the absence of the talismanic forward, and Hargreaves has identified the Nigerian as one of the club’s irreplaceable stars.
He said,
“I don’t think they have the quality to replace Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen.”
“If you look at the teams, you look at Real Madrid and Manchester City, those type of teams the amount of depth they have, five or six players,” Hargreaves said on BT Sport.
Osimhen is expected to be fit for the second leg at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium next Tuesday.
Napoli will need to score two goals without conceding to scale through to the semi-finals.
