Socio-cultural group in Enugu North, Igbo Nsukka Global Association, has appealed to President Bola Tinubu and leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) to zone the state’s ministerial slot to Enugu North in the interest of justice.

The group hailed the President for appointing their sons, Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla and Frank Mba.

According to the association, of the three senatorial districts, only Enugu North is yet to to serve as minister since 1999, while Enugu West and Enugu East had served five and two times.

“The situation is similar in the consideration for other non-ministerial assignments and offices. We profess our burning desire to contribute our quota to your government.

“We request that you consider Enugu North sons and daughters for a ministerial appointment and membership into federal boards, agencies, institutions and companies,” the group said.
