Disqualified BBNaija 2019 ex-housemate Tacha in a recent post on social media finally reveals why she refused to join the All-Star edition.
The anticipated BBNaija season 8 tagged “All Star” was launched yesterday, July 23rd, 2023 and by extension 20 housemates were ushered in by media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
The ‘All Stars’ edition feature carefully selected housemates and fan favourites from previous editions of the show from 2017 (See Gobe), 2018 (Double Wahala), 2019 (Pepper Dem), 2020 (Lockdown), 2021 (Shine Ya Eye) and 2022 (Level Up).
The 20 housemates include, CeeC, Kiddwaya, Doyin, Frodd, Uriel, Pere, Princess (Double Wahala), Soma, Angel, Neo, Alex Unusual, Seyi Awolowo, Ilebaye, Ike, Venita, Adekunle, Tolanibaj, Cross, Mercy Eke and Whitemoney.
However, Tacha while responding to her colleague Mike Edwards on why she is not on the show confirmed that BBNaija reached out to her but she wasn’t satisfied with the price she was offered in order for her to grace the show.
It all started when Toke Makinwa tweeted;
“Who do you think should have been added to the All-Stars line up? What are your thoughts? #BBNAIJAALLSTARS.”
Responding, Mike the BBNaija 2019 runner up said;
“Tacha Tacha Tacha.”
Reacting to Mike comment, Tacha tweeted;
“Dem no wan pay money nau! Price went up.”
