Mavins Records former signee Hadiza Blell aka Di’Ja has debunked the speculations that she ditched her label boss, Don Jazzy.
The 39-year-old mentioned this following a question from a fan on Twitter now called X app on Monday.
The fan had asked why the singer left Don Jazzy, speculating that Di’Ja would have been a bigger female artist than Tems.
In response to the curious fan, Di’Ja said;
“I never left. Kindly know this. Life happens and we are grateful for all the love and happenings. God bless Tems, and I need her to get bigger.”
She also shared videos of gifts she received for her birthday including a cake from Mavin.
“Thank you to my family, friends and family at Mavin for my cakes. I must gain weight this year,” the mother of three wrote in another tweet.
Recall that Di’Ja joined Mavin Records in February 2014 with the release of a single titled ‘Yaro’.
She featured also with other Mavin artistes on songs like ‘Dorobucci’, ‘Adaobi’, ‘Looku Looku’ and ‘Arise’.
