Madiba, Ikorodu City top NNL Southern Conference after first stanza

Madiba FC and Ikorodu City finished top of Nigeria National League Southern Conference Group A and B at the end of first stanza.

Madiba FC finished the first stanza with a 2-0 win against Ekiti United.

The Oshodi Boys top Group A with 25 points followed by Beyond Limits on 19 points.

In Group B Ikorodu City top the summit with 18 points, while Inter Lagos are in second position with 17 points.

Vandrezzer, 1472 FC, Stormers FC, Ijebu United, Warri Wolves and Tradesafe FC
are fighting for relegation in Group A and Group B respectively.

Two teams will qualify from each groups for the championship playoffs.

The second round of the ongoing NNL season is expected to resume later in the month.
