Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has said he will not rush Luke Shaw back from injury.
Shaw has suffered another setback in his recovery and will be available after the international break in September.
The left-back has not played for Ten Hag’s team since February.
However, he started for England against Spain in the Euro 2024 final.
“He will return in the short term, it doesn’t take long,” Ten Hag told a news conference on Thursday.
Shaw will miss the Red Devil’s opening Premier League fixture against Fulham on Friday.
But Ten Hag will have Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui available, after the duo completed their moves from Bayern Munich this week.
“[De Ligt and Mazraoui] will be in the squad, and Harry Maguire will be in the squad as well,” Ten Hag added.
