2026 WCQ – African Zone: Results Of Match-day 7 Fixtures

The results of Match Day 7 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in the African zone, played on Friday, has been confirmed.

South Africa defeated Lesotho 3-0 to move to 16 points and keep Nigeria and Rwanda at arm’s length with less than three matches remaining for them.

Goals from Maloisane Nkota, Lyle Foster and Oswin Appollis gave South Africa the victory.

Meanwhile, the last fixture for the match-day 7 will be Nigeria’s clash with Rwanda in Uyo on Saturday evening.
