Bafana Bafana of South Africa head coach Hugo Broos has shared his thoughts on the absence of Victor Osimhen for Tuesday’s clash with Nigeria.

Osimhen sustained an injury in Nigeria’s home clash with Amavubi of Rwanda last Saturday.

The 26-year-old failed to travel with the rest of the Super Eagles squad to Bloemfontein on Sunday.

Speaking with reporters on Monday, Broos said Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle has other quality options to replace the Galatasaray striker.

“We also have injuries and I think Osimhen is a very good striker. But I think the coach has lots of options to replace him,” declared the Belgian.

The encounter slated for the Toyota Stadium, Bloemfontein will kick-off at 5pm Nigerian time.
