Coach of the Rwandan national team, Adel Amrouche has said that he is aware that some people in Nigeria are against Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle.
Amrouche said this while backing the work being done by the Malian in Nigeria.
He said it is important that Nigerians support their national team coach and allow him do the job he was employed to do.
Nigeria defeated Rwanda 1-0 in a World Cup qualifying game on Saturday to brighten their chances of qualification.
Tolu Arokodare scored the only goal of the game at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The Rwandan manager, while fielding questions from the Nigerian media after the game, called for calm and unity around Chelle.
“Your coach? Eric is a good coach. I know some people may be against him. But he’s starting to do his job. Don’t be negative. You must respect your coach,” the Rwandan tactician said.
Up next for Eric Chelle and his boys is a trip to South Africa where they will face the Banafa Bafana on Tuesday.
