Former Super Eagles striker, Julius Aghahowa has advised Eric Chelle’s men to sacrifice and give 120 percent as they prepare for a crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying playoff against Gabon.

According to Aghahowa, the pressure is high for Nigeria to secure next year’s World Cup ticket, adding that Super Eagles must take the playoffs one game at a time.

The Nigeria versus Gabon game will take place at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex in Rabat, Morocco, on Thursday evening.

Speaking to AySuga Channel, Aghahowa said: “We have to take each game as they come. The next game has to be the most important game, after that, the next one will be the most important one.

“So, the pressure is high. So everybody invited to come and play in the remaining games must bring their A game.

“They must be fit, ready to sacrifice and be ready to give 120 per cent, if we really want to go to the World Cup.”

The kick-off time for the match is 5 pm.
