The Super Eagles received a goals bonus of $120,000 for the 4-1 victory over the Panthers of Gabon, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
According to SCORENigeria, it was an initiative between the Nigeria Sports Commission ,NSC, and the private sector.
It was one of the promises made to the Super Eagles to resolve the pay dispute that forced the players to embark on strike on Tuesday.
They are expected to receive a bigger bonus should they beat Democratic Republic of Congo in the final of the playoffs.
The Super Eagles will face the Leopards at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex, Rabat on Sunday.
The encounter will kick-off at 8pm Nigerian time.
