Amavubi of Rwanda captain, Djihad Bizimana, has declared his team’s readiness for battle against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
The East Africans defeated the Super Eagles 2-1 on their last visit to Uyo in November 2024.
Eric Chelle’s side, however, avenged the defeat in March this year, claiming a 2-0 victory over the Amavubi at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali.
Saturday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday seven encounter will take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
Bizimana stated that they are ready for battle and will give their all on the pitch.
“We are fully focused on the game. It’s an important game for us, and we will fight hard on the pitch,” Bizimana told a press conference on Friday.
