Charly Boy, aka the Area Father, has reacted to Yul Edochie’s recent video wherein the actor said that the South East should produce the next President.

This is against Mr. Edochie’s earlier support for the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Peter Obi of the Labour Party is the most popular presidential aspirant ahead of the 2027 general election.

Obi fought very hard only to come third behind Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress and the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the last general election, according to the result released by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

He has declared interest to run come 2027, and in a viral video on X, the popular actor said, “The next President of Nigeria should come from the South East.

“The next President of Nigeria should come from the South East. In fairness and equity. That’s just the truth. That’s how it supposed to be.”

In reaction, Charly Boy wrote on X, “Yul Edochie finally see’s the light.

Thank God you don dey change lane.”
